At the beginning there were magic or illusion and people used them to surprise others. Today we have special effects (often abbreviated as SFX, SPFX, or simply FX). But while in the past they were employed just on screen, now they’ve been pushed to the next level and became multi dimensional: welcome to the new stunning era of 7D Holographic Effects.
Holograms have always attracted the interest of men and you can see them in almost any sci-fi films. But now they are a reality and people who see them remain astonished and their involvement is memorable.
What are special effects in general? They are illusions or visual tricks used in films, television, theatre, video games and simulator industries to simulate the imagined events in a story or virtual world.
The evolution of them are holograms: photographic recording of a light field, rather than of an image formed by a lens, and it is used to display a fully three-dimensional image of the holographed subject, which is seen without the aid of special glasses or other intermediate optics.
Since their creation they evolved, time after time, until developing seven dimensions. Ladies and Gents, a big applause to the “7D holograms”: a method for capturing a high quality hologram using 7 parameters. Why do we need 7 dimensions if the universe exists in a 3D space? Because to make it more realistic we require a large number of positions that surround our scene or subject. More technical details can be found on this link.
But we are not here to potentially get bored with definitions, history and technicality. We are here to have some fun and good time. Therefore, following we are going to show you three stunning examples. Three applications in different fields, and the results will blow your mind. See to believe.
Have you ever seen a whale into a school gym…without water? From now on you can.
In Sapporo (Japan) people use 7D holographic effects since 2011 and fans can attend a live concert and sing over the worlds of a virtual singer. Can you feel excited?
3. Gifts and Events
These spooky effects look incredible. Thanks to images and audio, they make a Halloween party or pranks so real and scary. Some people have been already using it and you can easily ‘join the club’: all you need is just buying them on Amazon for few dollars.
Have you ever seen 7D holograms? What was your feeling? Which subject would you like to be reproduced in such a way?
