These are Feliz Starck (film maker) and Selima Taibi (musician). They come from Germany and in 2016 they decided to leave the big city in Berlin, buy a 20 year old school bus on internet, convert it into a loft on wheels and finally start an adventurous road trip on the Panamerican Highway with their Bernese Mountaindog puppy. Through Canada and the States, down to Mexico, Guatemala and Panama they wanted to travel mostly off the grid with their new “moving house“.
Why did they do it? What’s the truth?
After creating “Pedal the World” documentary (the most popular in Germany in 2015), where he travelled around the world in 365 days on a bike, Feliz and his partner Selima (aka Mogli) started a blog, a Vlog and the creation of the “Expedition Happiness” documentary film (in cinemas next May 2017) that will show all their fans and everyone else what they did, where they went, how they did things and what they experienced during this “real life adventure” that maybe anyone would dream of:
- the bus conversion
- the successes and failures
- the border crossing
- the Visa issues
- the amazing locations visited
- and more.
