Do you know Sarahah? Few time ago people got engaged with this App available both in Google Play and App Store and that allows you to receive honest feedback from your employees and your friends in a private manner. But now another phenomenon is raising, especially among children and teenagers with another App that could substitute Sarahah – at least among youngsters: “tbh” by Midnight Labs LLC.
It’s currently available only for iOS and 2 million people already joined it. “Tbh” (supposedly meaning “To Be Honest”) declares itself as the only anonymous App with positive vibes and BuzzFeed and Time Magazine already talked about it.
Thanks to “tbh” friends can tell what they like about you, to eventually nominate you as the most popular, but based just on positive aspects. Because of how it works, “tbh” should avoid any chance of cyber bullying and fight it. With “tbh” users can forget intimidating or threatening messages. Will it be the time where love will win over evil?
Let’s go a bit deeper to see how it works
“Tbh” connects to your contacts, you can add your friends, you answer polls about them anonymously and you can even collect gems when you get picked (which means some of your friends liked and rated you for ex. as the most talented in drawing – depends on the question). Although the gem is pink if received from a girl or blue from a boy, and you also get some clue about the the “generous” friend, his/her identity still remains anonymous.
Any user can even create his own questions, but each poll must be submitted for approval and must be appropriate for a 12-year-old.
Midnight Labs launched “tbh” last month and to date, it’s available just in 14 US countries: Washington, Oregon, California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
Let’s wait and see whether they will enlarge their market so that all students, teenagers, young people – and why not even adults – from all over the world, can start spreading the power of positive thoughts and love.
Do you live in one of these countries? Have you or your children already had the chance to try it? Let us know how good and positive this App is. Hopefully it will be the first of many.
