He was just 19-year-old and during “Risky Business” shooting Tom Cruise knew well “how to balance oral sex and the Bible”.
This is what Curtis Armstrong, famous character actor, has written in a memoir called “Revenge of the Nerd” that will be published this month.
Armstrong writes in his new book.
He was surely a good-looking teen and – apparently – religious. But was it really like that? Was it just a cover-up or diversion for the “nasty” parties? I don’t recall the Bible encouraging this. Is it the same Bible?
Well, according to ReligionFacts, Tom Cruise is clearly a man interested in spiritual things: after considering a career as a Catholic priest – did you know? – he must have decided to take a different path and choose the acting career – as anyone knows – and eventually joined the Church of Scientology in 1986 after a class helped him overcome dyslexia.
Would you call this balancing the Bible with the rest? Maybe he was reading the Bible, but was he following its words? Just for the record, it’s been written “No man may be a servant to two masters…” [Luke 16:13].
