Do you like beaches, sunny places, the relaxing sound of waves crashing against the seashore, swimming in the warm sea water near the beach?

Well, it looks like you are not the only one, because big animals was spotted – again – playing at a Dubai beach and happily swimming, padded by the sweet gentle waves of the sea. This video has gone viral in no time (almost 1 million shares in just a few days after being uploaded) and revealed the identity of these “lovely terrible beasts”: tigers.
Yes, it’s not a big fish, an animal-shaped boat or a masked clown, but 5 real exotic fascinating tigers – 3 of which white.

That said, what were they doing at the beach, in the “desert”? Is it a common place for them? Of course not, so, is the circus back and changing their location? Have they escaped from some zoos? We don’t really know exactly. Anyway, this video shows them playing joyfully in the water: unlike our little feline friends, they seems not to be afraid of water at all. On the contrary, they are enjoying it, spending fantastic moments together.

Do you recognize the place? Just a trick: the iconic Burj Al Arab in the background. So, can that be a real threat to the tourists and locals? Well, before panicking, you should know that the video is believed to be shot in one of the private beaches along King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street (formerly Al Sufouh Road), as people commented and speculated.

Dr Reza Khan, principal wildlife specialist at Dubai Zoo told local media that “authorities did not receive any reports of big cats running loose on Dubai’s beaches over the weekend and suggested that the video might be older”.

He said: “We cannot, however, determine whether the beach is a private or a public one. If it was filmed on a public beach, it would have put the public’ s safety at risk”.

He also added “it was a mystery where the cats had come from, as they needed a licence to be imported into the country”.

It’s not the first time this happened, so will they return again? Will it be safe again? In the mean time, enjoy the beauty and elegance of these “brave” big cats, playing like babies on the seashore…from the “comfort of your desk”.
